CVB Offering Scholarships for Hospitality & Tourism Workers

The Livingston County Convention and Visitors Bureau’s (LCCVB) Education Committee is offering two $1,500 scholarships - one to Livingston County high school seniors pursuing a degree in hospitality, outdoor recreation, marketing, or other related major and one to a current Cleary University Hospitality student.

The LCCVB believes investing in Livingston County students is also making a valuable investment in the community and local tourism. LCCVB Board President, Pam McConeghy feels it is important to provide the tools and support students need to succeed in the hospitality field. Executive Director, Mary Robinson stated "As a former Hospitality and Tourism Management Student, I know what support from a dedicated community can do.” She believes these scholarships will help bring more young people to the area as well.

Applications must be received online by February 28, 2020. To learn more and apply visit the LCCVB’s website at http://visitlivingstoncounty.com/scholarships/
